Through our Supporting Communities in Community Planning Project we provide to local community and voluntary groups:

• capacity building workshops to develop their knowledge and skills;
• mentoring and support on the production of Local Community Plans; 
• advice and information on the new structures of public bodies; and 
• networking opportunities and sharing of good practice.

Wherever possible we co-ordinate our Community Planning work with Community and Rural Development Networks.  The Project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund.

We have been involved for many years in supporting Community Planning at a local level and have participated in the development of Government policy for Community Planning. We share our experience of Community Planning with others and offer advice to local councils and public and voluntary sector bodies.
