Coleraine Rural and Urban Network and Craigavon Community Network both invited us to provide capacity building to help local groups in their areas prepare for Community Planning.  The workshops enabled a wide cross section of groups to learn about the aims of Community Planning and the changing structures of local councils and public bodies.

We have worked in collaboration with East Belfast Community Development Agency, Oakleaf Rural Community Network and Supporting Communities to provide workshops on Community Planning for local groups.

Our work with Lenadoon Community Forum has included the preparation of a Local Community Plan following an intensive series of community planning workshops.  

The Rathlin Development and Community Association asked us to help it prepare a Community Plan for the island and to successfully lobby for Government agreement on the need for a cross-departmental policy to sustain and develop the community.

We organised a regional conference with NICVA and RCN to enable groups to learn from examples of good practice in Community Planning in Scotland, England and the Republic of Ireland.
