We provide advice, information, factsheets and guides and capacity building support to community groups on planning issues and policies.  This includes support for groups on influencing planning policy making and advice on objecting to planning proposals affecting their communities.

Our Planning Advice Line advises individuals on issues ranging from the structure of the planning system and how it operates to how to object to planning applications affecting their homes or their areas.

Other ways in which we help:

• outreach advice and training workshops;
• publication of guides and factsheets on planning policies and issues;
• lobbying for a planning system which supports community involvement and sustains local communities.
