Scrabo Residents’ Association asked for our help in undertaking a local community survey and compiling statistics on local deprivation.  The survey led to environmental improvements including traffic calming, recognition by Government of the area’s needs and a new funding programme and is also supporting the Association’s case for a new community centre.

Community groups in Toome and Antrim Council appointed us to undertake a household survey and community consultation on local needs and priorities for regeneration.

The Blackie River Community Group sought our assistance in reviewing its work and developing a new strategy for the development and better co-ordination of community projects for children and young people, older people, environmental improvements and training provision.

We have facilitated public and community consultation on planning policy issues including PPS 14, on Belfast City Council’s proposal for a ‘Giant’s Park’ for the city and on a transportation strategy for Belfast.

We worked with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust on the development of its strategy for community involvement and facilitated workshops for its staff on designing consultation events and opportunities.
