Example of winning ideas

Slemish College: to run a fun day for the school; to set up a movie club; to set up cheerleading Taster sessions.

Ballymena Academy: to provide a new water fountain; to organise 5 week after school club in self defense/Brazilian Ju-Jitsu for 30 students.

Dunclug College: to provide a Games room;

St Louis: to hold some fundraising / non uniform / celebration days; to purchase new football nets and balls

Castle Tower School: to provide a new Nurture Room


Top three tips from the organisers

  1. Taking time with the process, this is an 18 month long process
  2. Plan to repeat, we plan to run this Schools PB out again in 2025-2026
  3. More learning to be included within the programme for schools on Participative Democracy
