Planning Advice – North Belfast

Community Places is holding a planning advice outreach session in north Belfast on Wednesday, 16 April 2025 in Newington Housing Association’s offices (300 Limestone Road, Belfast).

This advice session will focus primarily on Belfast City Council’s development proposals for the Waterworks and Alexandra Parks and we hope residents and community groups in the area will take this opportunity to find out more about this important development. An application for planning permission has been made and Belfast City Council has published information on the project on its website.

The advice session will run from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm – if would be helpful if you could call us in advance to make an appointment (on 9023 9444). We are able to provide advice on:

• how to comment on the proposal; and
• Belfast City Council’s decision-making process.

If you’re not able to drop in to the advice session on the day, you can also contact us for advice by telephone (on 9023 9444) or by email.  Our Planning Advice Service is part-funded by the Department for Infrastructure and this enables us to provide free, confidential, impartial planning advice to people and communities who cannot afford to pay a private consultant.
